Artist Statement
With interest in painting history, artist asks questions about the technique of pigment as to how it relates to the content of historical painting and its meaning. Artist has interpreted the meaning of "pigment" to define itself (glitter, mirror chrome spray, crystal, gold leaf, resin), which are chemical processed objects originating from alchemist science in medieval times. It is the foundation of modern science and forbidden at that time. They have been done by drawing the composition of the science of alchemy with hidden language code symbols and puzzles. It transforms the semantic process of an infinite symbol to link and avoid the impact on politics and religion that cannot be spoken directly combined with the paintings being cheap novels such as investigation, horror, fiction, love, and science fiction novels,. (Pon Nikorn Kim Nguan, Hem Vechakorn), have recorded some histories that have not been recorded by paintings.
About Y.A.N (Young Artist Network by BACC)
Young Artist Network by BACC (Y.A.N.) is a program by Exhibition Department, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre that seeks to support the works and careers of young artists in the beginning stages of their career, specifically through mutual collaboration with individuals or organizations. Aimed to build the capacity of young artists, Y.A.N.’s objective is to act as a ground base for various projects operating within the same framework, focusing on providing incredibly versatile supports that meet the social and cultural changes. Y.A.N. is a network for art professions to share knowledge, resources and expand connections to new young artists who can in turn develop professional skills and discover opportunities to work in Thailand and overseas according to their branch of art.
